Who am I?
Hi. My name is Austin, and I go by they/them (mostly). I find myself particularly drawn to working with people on the margins. The world’s not always a welcoming place. In fact, it’s regularly not. You live here, you know how it is. Be it BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, witchy, kinky: anything and everything both inside and outside of the binary, know you are welcome here. I focus on working with people who want to explore their identity and relationships, process grief, and become better acquainted with their anxiety and depression.
As a therapist, I practice primarily from an existential and humanistic perspective. I aim to provide a space that invites you to explore everything there is to know about yourself: how you move and continue to move through life, how you have made meaning in life, and how you can go about living a fulfilling and satisfying life. We'll, too, look at the barriers that have gotten in your way, the same things that have impeded you becoming the person you wish to be, the person that you are.
Life is a river that keeps on moving, so we must too. Who you are today, as you read this now, has helped you make it this far, and there's a lot to be said about that. My question to you is: where do you want to go next?
